The Origins Of Hiphop Culture

"Peace is not something that is given to you, it is something you create"

Hip Hop culture is fundamentally anchored in the principles of peace, love, unity, and enjoyment. Its origins can be traced back to the 1960s and 1970s, when over 100 gang members convened for a peace conference aimed at addressing gang violence and police brutality in their neighborhoods. Today, Hip Hop has transformed into a global phenomenon, expressed through various artistic mediums, including music, dance, and poetry. The key elements of this culture encompass breaking, graffiti, emceeing, and DJing, reflecting its rich and diverse heritage. By blending the concepts and principles inherent in Hip Hop culture with the esoteric and spiritual knowledge from his upbringing, Jared has developed a unique curriculum known as the "Science of Street Dance." This innovative program combines the rich heritage of street dance with deeper insights, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of both the art form and its cultural significance.
